The Kentland Rotary Club noon speaker for Tuesday, August is" was Diane Hopkins of the Dressing Room in Goodland. This is an outreach of the Goodland Baptist Church. It was organized in the fall of 2014 and was operational the spring of 2015. They serve all ages who need clothes that they receive from Goodland and the surrounding community's.
It is a wonderful operation that has served 346 families and 757 different individuals since opening. All the clothes are washed and hung up on racks for those shopping. It is a tremendous financial help especially for the school age children preparing for another school year.
This is a total volunteer organization who is always looking for additional help, whether this be hanging up clothes, sorting the donations or help in washing and drying the bags of clothes donated.  If you are cleaning out your closets this is a worthy place to donate your good clothes that you no longer need or wear. They take all sizes from babies to adults.
Diane also mentioned the group appreciated of the metal storage container where clothing donations can be dropped off which was provided by the Kentland Rotary Club.

The Kentland Rotary Club would like to thank Diane for taking the time to speak to the club about an organization serving the needs of our community. Their efforts mirror the Rotary motto " Service above Self'
